Calista’s POV
“But…” I murmured, “Are you willing to drop our long friendship?” I gasped, looking at her face that became stoic.
She gulped and I watched her with my tears flowing so fast. “Yes, Calista,” she said firmly. “I’ve tried to be understanding, but this has pushed me to my limit. I can’t accept being lied to and used as a pawn in your emotional turmoil. But it will not happen if you know what to do.
