Chapter 137. The Story

“I continued to work with her for a while. She was willing to do everything to get the rogue’s money and run away and I was willing to do everything I could to get my freedom again. I knew the moment she left I would have to deal with the rogue alone so I knew I needed to work my way to leave as well. And so we began. The documents were finally sent off one day and they returned in Bria’s name. She had gotten what she wanted. It was the night when the rogue also discovered that……that something was going on between Manuel and I. He planned to kill us because of it.”

Interesting. The story had become much more interesting.

“Bria told me that night at the office. She told me to if I stayed till dinner time I would be killed so I needed to find a way to leave before then. This was few minutes to dinner.”

I leaned back on the couch and grabbed a throw pillow and positioned myself very well. I absolutely enjoying every bit of this story.

And so I took my chances.
