Chapter 144. Convenience Sake

I woke up when I heard footsteps entering the room. I knew Ox hadn’t left the room yet so it was curious about who he entered the room. I opened my eyes to see Brown walking towards the bed. I immediately sat up since it seemed like he was walking towards me and that was………worrisome.

“Why are you here?” I heard Ox ask as he came through the bathroom door. He had on a pair of shorts and a t shirt. Brown stopped walking and turned to look at him. The look on his face changed once he shifted his gaze from me and it left me wondering if he was up to something where I was concerned.

“Oh you’re here……I almost thought…….anyway I came to check up on you.”

“You came to check up on me? That’s bullshit.”
