Lovette’s POV.

How long was I going to wait before I told Ryder about the attack being planned against him by Felix and the vampires.

Because my aunt told me about that information at the same time she told me about my father, I was a bit distraught so I hadn’t given it so much attention. But time was not on our side and Felix and his men could be here at anytime, ready to attack. I wanted to believe that the green moss pack was a formidable one and so would be hard to penetrate but then again, now Felix had vampires with him and that only meant the enemy’s side was much stronger.

I had kept asking myself since I heard the news, if he was doing this because of me. Could he really not get over me to the extent that he would stage an attack on the green moss just because he wanted to get at me? And what if he actually succeeded?
