Chapter 7

He walked towards me and held me. I didn’t move; I was frozen. I felt so many sparks. “Why did you hide from me?” He asked. I looked down. He picked my chin up and pecked my lips. More sparks erupted.

When he let go of me, I felt incomplete. I craved his touch. “We’ll chat after school.” That was all he said and left.

Luciano was nowhere to be seen. He missed three classes. I hope I didn’t upset him. There was still a part of me that kept my guard up. I didn’t want a mate but now things are changing.

After school, I went to my dorm room. Before I could enter, Luciano opened his and pulled me in. Before I could say anything, he had me against his door, and his lips were on mine.

His lips were full of lust and hunger. Maxie howled. I stood still, le
