Alexander’s POV
It was the same every single time; all they could discuss was money, influence, and the rest.
I rolled my eyes and took a drink before nonchalantly strode to the chair, but I suddenly stopped in my tracks.
Someone mentioned her name. Someone definitely mentioned Nina’s name here.
At first, I wanted to ignore it, thinking it was only a coincidence, but almost immediately, her name was mentioned again, this time confirming my thoughts.
“Nina Crabtre,” someone muttered, his voice low, almost impossible to hear, but somehow, I did.
I tactfully turned slightly as I took a sip out of my drink, a sly smile plastered on my face as I traced who had mentioned Nina’s name.
