Chapter 23. Getting Wilder
Donna held a business card in her hands with Victoria Abbot, CEO of Spectrums, written on it.
“Who was the first to find her body?” asked Sarah stiffly. Even though she didn’t know Donna, she was shocked to see her die tragically like that.
“Her husband and her children,” answered Detective Park, his eyes staring at Sarah intensely.
Sarah was stunned, tears filling her eyes. She couldn’t imagine how Donna’s children would feel to see her mother covered in blood. She crouched on the floor, covering her face, and started crying. Not only was she touched by what happened to Donna, but also because she had to feel lost because Donna and Victoria were close friends. If she acted casually, Detective Park might be more suspicious of her.
“I heard she visited you at The Finnigans?” Detective Park asked, ignoring Sarah, who was still crying.
