Chapter 30. Love Triangle

Sarah closed her eyes, finding it difficult to think clearly. Things got messy and didn’t go according to plan.

“Is there any problem?” asked Matthew, suddenly appearing before her.

She looked up and was still annoyed about their conversation before, but she put her feelings aside. “Victoria took my grandmother away from the apartment,” she said in a choked voice.

Matthew glared at her in surprise. “What? Why?” he asked in disbelief.

Sarah let out a long sigh.

“She felt her life is in danger because Edward could appear at any time and might easily find her, she was also afraid that I would reveal the location where she lived, she brought my grandmother just as a guarantee so that I won’t open my mouth and finish things without anyone knowing where she is,” she said, looking at the wall blankly.

Matthew stepped forward, gently stroking the top of Sarah’s head. “Don’t worry, she would never hurt your grandmother. She is a good person.”
