“Do you maybe want to talk about it before you spend money that you don’t have?” Reiki turned back, whispering at her.
“Do I really have much of a choice?”
Rosen smiled, like he had caught a large trout without any effort. “It’s not much money to you. After all, you’re practically related to the Swernbachs.”
Being related to the Swernbachs seemed to have cost her more than she had ever gained. She did not understand how Andrew could still be convinced that she was a gold digger.
“Well?” Rosen pressed.
She sighed, staring up at the cream colored ceiling, with the magnificent chandeliers that dropped from various parts of the ceilings. “And what do I have to lose?”
“Nothing really. You’ll get your ring back in record time,” Rosen said.
“Today?” She met his eyes.
“We’re not miracle workers but within a three to five days’ time frame.”
“Business days or all days?” Reiki asked.
