Chapter 141. Head Over Head Over Heels

The first thing he noticed when he stepped into the house was the fact that there was someone on the staircase waiting for him to come in. He didn’t recognize the woman in a well fitted black suit who looked at him with a smile.

“I’ve been expecting you.”

“Expecting me? Who are you?” Andrew looked at his bodyguards for an explanation.

These past few hours, he began to feel what he had subjected Elaine to — having bodyguards that were there not only to protect you but also to save you from yourself, which meant that they restricted you from doing a lot of things you wanted to do.

“I’m Codette Doan, an occupational psychologist.” She stretched out her hand to him.

Andrew glared at her hand and looked back at his bodyguards for answers. There was no answer from the body guards. He looked up to the staircase where he saw his father walking towards him. “Dad, what’s this about?”

His father gripped the handrail with a sympathetic look in his eyes. “It w
