Chapter 98. Bathrobe
There was a knock on the bedroom door.
“Give me a second, Reiki,” Elaine groaned as she rolled across the soft bed.
It was no surprise that she had chosen Andrew’s bedroom out of all the rooms in the house. His room was the biggest and his bed was like falling onto a firm stack of feathers. With the air conditioner on, and being buried under the duvet, she could sleep for an eternity.
There were other things to love about Andrew’s room – like the walk-in closet, or the endless space and cabinet to keep things. She kept finding new places to store things, like the drawers at the side of the bed frame.
Never in her life could she have imagined living like a queen.
She’d come back from work, tossed her bag aside and jumped into the bathroom for a quick shower to get rid of the stench of Timothy. Then she had donned on a little almost see through black singlet over her pair of baby blue shorts.
Rita had prepared lunch and dinner, ready to be reheated
