Chapter 30
Alex walked into the pack house. He had been at the stables with his horse, Lightning. He walked up the stairs, and got into his room, going for a wash. When he was done, he walked over to his bed, and as he lay on it, he immediately fell asleep.
"Please, help me, please," Mia's muffled voice pleaded.
Alex forced his eyes open, and he narrowed his brows as he wondered why on earth he would be hallucinating Mia. Not just hallucinating her, but also thinking she was in trouble.
He closed his eyes, pretending not to have envisioned her for a few minutes as he drifted into sleep.

"Let go of me, you vulgar barbarians!" Mia vented out on the masked men who had abducted her, but they paid deaf ears to her shouts.
