Alex lay in his bed the next morning, deeply in thought. He reflected on the event that happened during their journey to the medicine man's cabin as he reminisced on the attack they encountered.

He recalled one of the masked men dragging Mia aware, and slowly he concluded that the attack was not just to slow them down, but to capture Mia as well. This worried him and also puzzled him at the same time. Who wanted to abduct Mia and for what reason? He wondered.

He rolled to the other side of the bed. He would not be surprised if he found out she had enemies. The crazy woman talks too much, but, on second thought, she does not look the type to make trouble. She was loquacious, jovial, and quite exuberant. All in all, she was one hell of a weird woman before Alex.
