Chapter 25. Denver at Her Apartment!

Denver gaped at Officer Williams in disbelief. Was he hearing him correctly? Did he really ask him to move in with Sapphire?

"I would have gone myself, but we have a very important mission of searching for Miguel López,  right now. I don't trust anyone else with Sapphire," said Officer Williams.

"So, when should he go to Dallas?" asked his ma, her face pale after hearing of the danger that her son was going to face.

"Start packing Denver. You might have to go as soon as possible, maybe tonight," said Brad Williams. Suddenly, his phone buzzed, and he rushed out to take the call. After three minutes, he rushed inside.

"I have to go. We have traced his right-hand man. Sarah, you can sleep here for tonight. It's not safe to be alone at home. Denver, I think you need to go tonight. Sarah will give you the address of Sapphire's apartment," said the officer before running out to his car.
