Chapter 24. A Passionate Encounter

Her lips looked more delicious than ever, and her eyes twinkled more, tempting him to lose control. His glance roamed over her face but again landed on her trembling lips and this time he really lost control. Alexis was hypnotized by his dark pupils, aware of the intense desire that was coursing through her veins. Would he kiss her again, just like he had done the last time? She was too shy to initiate it, but desperately wanted a repeat. 

“How much?” he whispered hoarsely, pulling her closer. With her body crushed to his, she could hardly control her senses. All she could feel was her pounding heart and his hot breath on her face. She looked away, a blush staining her cheeks, suddenly aware of their position
