Chapter 78. Lost but Found
She alights the yellow cab with much difficulty and slams the door shut behind her. She sighs as it zooms off, leaving the view of the City Park for her to enjoy. She checks the time on her phone. Six fifteen p.m, perfect time for a calm rest.
The pale-yellow sunset casts a hue over the expanse, the colorful swings and jingle over glistening, reflecting shiny wavelengths that add to the allure of the park. Clad in a short, sleeveless, flail gown, the purple color adds vibrance to the serene evening, her hair floating with the evening breeze as she strides toward the entrance.
“Hello, do you have a pass?” A masculine voice attracts her to the ticketing cubicle beside the entry point. She smiles at the teenager in an oversized brown shirt and a matching face cap with a logo indicating that he is an authorized personnel for the park.
“Uhm… How much is a ticket?” She asks him, but before he can speak someone interrupts.
