Chapter 41. Transformation
The reddish light drove Justin through the water ball and into its confines.
He couldn’t control himself. Justin felt like his body was being hollowed out on all sides. Too many energy triggers made it hard to tell where they came from. Justin’s muscles flexed, and he had to hold on with all his might to keep himself from falling to pieces. His growls of pain broke the silence of the night. Justin was about to explode.
“Carl Justin, you are stronger than you think.”
Azeeva’s whisper swirled from left ear to right ear countless times. The voice gave Justin the strength to focus. Focus embodies all elements of energy. The pounding of rocks strengthened the bones. Waves of water amplified the rush of breath. A rush of dirt on his face that seemed to bury him. Familiar fireballs seeped into his eyeballs.
