Scarlett’s POV

I watch her warily as I know she most likely has a weapon on her. My hands go to my thigh and I sigh in relief when my hands come in contact with the blade I have on me.

“I’m not fucking the boss, Ava. We only just work.” I try to reason with her, but she becomes more aggressive. She shoves me against the wall and I hiss in pain as my shoulder connects with the cold concrete wall.
