Gage’s POV

Scarlett’s eyes warn me that the time for exchanging pleasantries are over and I nod in understanding.

“What do you want, Gage?” She asked beating me to the chase as I had planned to get serious first.

“Let me just get straight down to the point.” I say and it’s followed by a pause on her side.
