Chapter 62

Alessa’s POV

I woke up early in the morning because I was changing the climate. I went out to the veranda where I could see from where I was standing the wide and beautiful city view here in Bangkok, Thailand. A lot of things are running through my mind even though I don’t think about them. I took a deep breath and hugged myself as the night wind blew.

“Babe?” Elijah called me.

When I looked back at Elijah, he was in the sliding door and out where I was. I even brushed my long hair that was blowing in the wind before speaking. “Why did you wake up? Can’t you sleep too?”

“You weren’t by my side. That’s why I woke up. Then I saw you were here, that’s why I came out. Is that you? Can’t you sleep? That’s why you’re here?”

“I don’t know, but I feel like I’m changing. Maybe it’s because my body knows that we’re not in our country.” I followed that with laughter and even he laughed softly.

He came to me and placed himself behind me, and then hugge
