Alex stirred on his bed as he tried to fund the right position to sleep. And yet, it seemed like an impossible task. All the sleep had disappeared from his eyes, leaving him tired with heavy eyes.
He went over the events of the last couple of days kaleidoscopically in his mind’s eye, wondering what might have happened if he’d even tried to do one thing differently. The question was, what?
