And then, Rolling Stone Magazine made things worse.
For some unfathomable reason, an overzealous writer at the magazine had chosen that moment to do an overview of Sullivan Corporation. In all honesty, the article had not been all that scathing. In fact, it had praised Henry Sullivan and commended his leadership, hailing him as one of the best business leaders of his generation. But it had also noted that the company was standing tall on past glory. No new wins and projects had been launched or initiated in the past year, and the writer noted that it seemed Henry Sullivan had become quite complacent with thriving on his previous successes in the past year.
Thriving on his past successes? Henry tossed the magazine against the wall in frustration when he read the article. The nerve! Glorious events were sometimes so short-lived in the public consciousness. It was infuriating.
