Chapter 206. Hello, Highwoods

Maddie did not say anything in response and could already feel the tension building in the room. She went to the other side of the table and sat down, getting ready to start eating before her anxiety stole her appetite away. 

Nate looked at Vanessa as the girl proceeded to take a seat right next to the omega. He knew that she was still pissed by what had happened but she deserved to be yelled at. She knew very well not to prance around with a gun. 

He placed his phone down and flashed a dull smile at both of the girls before he started to dig into his food. The eggs were perfect, just the way he liked it. He could feel that there was tension in the room as everyone ate in silence but he kept his thoughts to himself. 

When they were done eating, they all left the villa. Vanessa drove her own car, while Nate and the omega were in another one. The car ride was quiet too, Maddie did not know what to say, or maybe she did but was just way too deep in her thought
