Chapter 35. Ultimatums

Maddie shot up and was on her feet in no time. Her heart was pounding and she wanted to call for Nate but knew that she could not.

“I was invited by Nate,” She explained to the guy, answering his question as her body shook slightly due to the adrenaline and fear coursing through her veins.

“Alpha Nate, say it after me: Alpha Nate. Be respectful!” He made sure to lock the door of the room before walking over to the omega.

Maddie was very scared but the assurance she had was that the guy was not going to kill her, at least not in there.

“I’m sorry,” Maddie quickly apologized as she took a tentative step back, her voice breaking a bit. 

“Your name is Maddie Bennett, right?” He began, nodding as an evil glint sparked in his eyes. “You know how easy it would be for me to destroy you?”

Maddie gulped, feeling the fear choke her. She could barely speak, “Yes, sir,” She replied, not knowing what to say.
