Chapter 88. Peekaboo, I See You

Maddie’s heart began to race as she scanned the trees around her, searching for the source of the ominous feeling. She quickened for pace, her mind darting to all the possible dangers lurking in the shadows. 

Suddenly, a dark figure stepped out from behind a tree, blocking her path. “Well, well, Maddie Bennett,” A chilling voice sneered. “It’s nice meeting you here.” The voice was familiar, she knew it all too well.
