Chapter 29. Noelle
Noelle woke up deliciously sore in all the right places. She stretched with a smile and rolled over to face a still sleeping Shane. His impossibly long lashes cast shadows on his handsome face, and not even the faint bruising from Will’s fist could take away from his beauty.
Noelle leaned in closer and pressed her lips softly to his. He stirred slightly. She kissed him again, a bit harder this time, and a contented sound purred out of him.
Leaving him to sleep in, Noelle slipped out of bed and snatched up Shane’s shirt which had been carelessly tossed on the floor the night before. The shirt, which had stretched perfectly across his broad chest the previous evening, was much too big for her and it fell almost to her knees when she put it on. She didn’t care. It smelled like him, and she loved feeling the soft cotton caress her skin.
