As soon as Theo’s meetings were finished, he was rushed from Wolverines Park to Dulles Airport so he could make his flight to Miami. It had been a crazy day. One meeting led to another meeting, and then another one. He had already tried to call Katrina, but her phone went straight to voicemail. As soon as he was checked in and waiting in the lounge for his flight, he called Vienna in an attempt to talk to his girls and to get a feel of her mood after apparently having seen Katrina in his sweatshirt. The thought of Kat snuggled up in his big fleece warmed his heart, and he smiled. His smile faltered as soon as he heard Vienna’s voice on the phone. She sounded sweet as sugar, which was quite unusual.
