(Lena's POV)

It was already late, and Damien was yet to return home from work. I couldn't deny the fact that I was already missing him.

He had finally said the words back to me; he loved me, and things were finally falling into place. In the back of my mind, I always knew that I could win his heart, and if he had no heart, I would forge one. I knew that it wasn't all false, and I knew he had been trying to understand himself for so long. I was willing to help him; deep down there was a man, a good man in him, and I wanted to find that part of him. I wouldn't stop searching till I was able to find it, and I would never stop trying till I could heal him.
