Selene's POV

I looked out the car window.

"Brother Niko, I'm afraid of what's happening now."  just listened quietly. "I feel that all the people around us are angry with vampires like us."

Even though we are innocent...

"We can't avoid it. Humans see us as monsters."

"Monster.."  I laughed bitterly because of what he said.

We're not monsters; we're just mythical creatures that exist in this world.

"Selene."

"Hmm?"

"Don't worry, everything's going to be alright." Trust me."  I quickly smiled when Niko said that.

"I know."

In this world, there are eight vampire clans with the highest rank.

Yamamoto's clan and Laurent's clan are two of those.

The eight vampire clans rank second only to the elders.

That's why we have permission to do what we want when it comes to normal vampires.
