Selene's POV

Just from his question earlier, I knew he was only going to ask me for an assignment.

But he's sorry; I didn't do anything either.

I took a breath before going to the camera app and taking a picture of myself smiling and still holding up my middle finger.

After that, I immediately returned to Hikaru's chat and sent him my picture.

Selene: Thank you, Laturr!

"You've got it." I laughed softly before turning off the cellphone and focusing on walking again.

But..

I quickly stopped when I smelled blood. I immediately looked around.

I'm not easily attracted to blood, but this blood is very strong.

I feel something bad is happening to the owner of this blood.

I stopped searching when suddenly what the nurse at the hospital said came back to mind.

"Oh, isn't it?" "They say it's a victim of a vampire."

I quickly bit my lower lip.
