Chapter 60. Evil Deeds

“Where am I?” Alex muttered to himself. His voice sounded groggy. He slowly climbed down the bed. Something didn’t feel right. He was naked. His eyes narrowed down his naked body.

“This isn’t home.”

Nothing there seemed familiar. Before he could let out another voice, he caught sight of a feminine figure lying on the bed, fully covered with a blanket—only her hair was revealed. The same bed he got up from. His eyes were lit with an eager glow.

With curiosity, he walked back to the bed and slowly rolled away the blanket. To his greatest shock, he unveiled Jane. She was naked, too.

“What in the bloody hell!” he cried out.

There was no memory of how he got here. No clue how he ended up on the same bed with the same woman who nearly ruined his relationship with Lacey.

Jane rolled on the bed at the sound of Alex’s yell and quickly sat up. Seeing him staring at her with a confused look, she smirked. “We did have a good time together last night.”
