At the dinner table, Liana waited till Steve said something that amused her father and put him in a good mood before she spoke.

“I have to go back to Eve’s Atelier tomorrow. I didn’t like the dress I tried today.” She announced randomly and both men looked at her.

Her father frowned. “Selection of your dress was specifically planned for today. You had the whole day to spend there and you chose something you didn’t like?”

“It’s not my fault. Steve has bad taste. He said the dress was beautiful and I was convinced earlier but I no longer am.” She replied without batting an eye.
