Chapter 87
One of them paused, not because of what she said but because he saw her face. Liana didn’t know that. She held her breath when he stopped to look at her. The man had slowly turned back, a black hoodie covered most of him but she could still see the scar near his jawline when he tilted his head.
His eyes narrowed. Liana felt something cold settle in her stomach. The man stared another second too long before casually continuing forward with the others. She had sighed in relief but then he looked back again.
That was when she noticed the tattoo by his jawline. It was a simple tattoo of a razor. Her heart skipped. She remembered the men that had almost killed her at Cain’s house had that exact same tattoo. She looked away quickly and checked the bus lane again.
Her phone battery flashed red with a 2% warning. “Perfect,” she muttered. “Just fucking perfect.”
Behind her, the hooded man had stopped walking. Another Razor Wolves member came up beside him.
