Chapter 35
RHIANNON
“Ashley…” tears flowed from my eyes as I held onto the stretcher, my heart racing while the nurses stopped me from getting into the operation room.
“Ashley!!”
My tears fell even harder, my chest aching.
“Ria… Ria, what happened?” Charles asked, rushing to me, holding my shoulders as I crouched on the floor, my eyes sore and swollen.
He lifted me, pulling me into his arms, placing my head on his chest as the tears continued.
“I’m right here,” he whispered, caressing my face gently, trying to console me while my tears kept flowing endlessly.
Then a doctor came around. I quickly walked up to him, my hair ragged, my hands still stained with blood, my body out of place.
“Wh… what is it, doctor? What’s needed?” I stuttered.
“She’s lost a lot of blood. She’s in a critical state,” he said.
