Chapter 47. Tutor
Rose’s POV
“Hi, my little baby. You’re starting school soon. I hope you know that,” I cooed, smiling at my sweet boy.
I pecked Kael on his cheeks as he flung his small, chubby arms at me like he could wrestle me. I let him take a few punches to my nose, and then I attacked him again with my pecks, and even though he tried harder and harder to fight me off, his giggles made it clear that he loved my pecks, so I kept it coming.
Ferdinand had informed me the night before that he had mentioned to Nathaniel that Kael would start learning how to write. He had started walking now, and the next thing to follow was his education.
I had suggested to Ferdinand some while ago. Children in my small town at home began learning as soon as they could start walking. Ferdinand had said we could bring it up again over breakfast. That meant I would see Nathaniel today.
