Chapter 48. Books from the Bookstore

Nathaniel’s POV

The drive to the bookstore was crazy. Kael had thrown up milk, and even though I expected him to be tired after throwing up and fall asleep immediately, he kept throwing his arms up and causing trouble. He was so excited to be outside the mansion. This was the second he was leaving the mansion after his birth.

The first time had been to the church for his baptism when he was barely a month old.

He and Rose kept giggling at the back as we drove down, and even my chauffeur couldn’t stop himself from smiling at both of them.

We soon arrived at the bookstore, and I asked Rose to come inside while I took Kael from her. He had literally thrown up all over her, and she needed to get cleaned up. We walked into the store, and as soon as we got in, I asked the attendant to take her to the washroom.
