Chapter 49. Unexpected Encounter
William’s POV
“You’re so sneaky, Nathan.” I chuckled. “You could at least give me some credit since you met the girl at my wedding.”
“I do not have to talk about that with you. Since you have refused to leave, I will. Also, the next time you see my security, just keep driving, please. Your company is becoming more and more tedious by the second,” Nathan said and walked away.
“I’ll take note of that, couz!” I yelled after him and laughed. I saw the shop attendant hand over the package of one of the men, and then they all drove away.
The store remained closed.
I tried to remain calm and hide my anger since I was in a public space and there was no one to vent to anyway. I stood up and walked back to my car.
I had intended to meet up with Lucien and some other men earlier, but I turned back and went home. I had something more serious to deal with.
