“Mom, are these all the things you need?” I asked from the dining area as I grabbed the piece of paper from the table. Mom invited some of her colleagues over for dinner. Just three people, including her. And she made a list of the things I needed to get for her.

“Yes, darling. Or do you want me to add something?” she asked from the kitchen. Today was Friday. And she normally had a day off on Fridays.

It was also our free class day since the student week was coming next week on Monday. So we were given three days to prepare. To be honest, I was not really planning anything special for the student week.

I know Mr. Hunter planned it on purpose for my name to appear under his supervision. He’s hell-bent on claiming me as his mate. I bet he hasn’t gotten to the rim of my rejection yet.
