My eyes scanned the surroundings as people passed by, each with their own destination in mind. “Do you think the guy will be here?” Ian asked me.

“I don’t predict wrong information. Just wait for five minutes, and he’ll be out,” I replied. It’s not like I was bragging, but I didn’t take action without a plan. And if my plans fail, I always have a backup plan. The guy we were targeting was the person giving information to Nathaniel. He didn’t know what he was getting himself into, involving himself in the werewolf world.

“Okay, let’s wait and see. I’m starving though. We’ve been sitting here for more than thirty minutes,” Ian said, pushing his mouth forward like a small kid deprived of his candy.

As predicted, the guy walked out of the club puffing his cigarette. Just by looking at him, you’d know he’s dangerous. “He’s out,” I said, my eyes fixed on him.
