My eyes darted to the ingredients sitting in front of me. My body shivered at the onions that were staring right back at me. I didn’t like cutting onions, but then again, I loved eating them. I was the one that caused it in the first place when I suggested that we do a competition. And now, I was left with cutting the onions. Seriously, what did they take me for?
Hunter was clearly enjoying it. So, what he said about my cooking not being bad was all a lie? He didn’t trust my cooking. None of them did. Not Hunter and not Ian.
“What are you waiting for? Get to work,” Hunter uttered. I didn’t miss how his lips curved into a smirk, whereas Ian didn’t try to hide his. He was clearly laughing at me.
“Why must I be the one to cut the onions? There are other things for me to do,” I remarked, pushing my mouth forward.
“Because that’s what you should do. You will get to the rest when you’re done with the first task,” I hissed out in annoyance.
