Chapter 15

Everyone immediately moved from the living room to the dining area and sat around a large table.

“Oh my goodness, this is even better than yesterday,” Ethan said softly, surprised as he stared at the large selection of food and drinks on the table.

“You prepared all this yourself?” Delilah asked, and the old man replied,

“Yes, I did. Cooking is something I really love doing, so I never get bored when I’m in the kitchen. I would even cook for the whole city just for the thrill of it…”

“Wow! That’s really cool, and you don’t have to worry—we’ll do the dishes once we’re done and even help in the store if you want!” Kathrin offered.
