Chapter 32. A Coincidence

At the same time, Richard was in his office and very busy with his work. Even so, he couldn’t stop thinking about what happened last night. Winona’s eyes turned pale, and her eyes were so scary. Richard knew Winona couldn’t be conscious when she transformed.

Though he rarely encountered sea creatures, Richard knew what mermaids, nymphs, and sirens looked like. Nothing shone like that. It was like pearls and gems. From the books that Richard read last night, none of the creatures that were described had scales like pearls and shined. Richard sighed because he couldn’t concentrate on his work.
