Chapter 33. Another Handsome Man

Winona stared out the window the whole time she was in the car, gazing at the New York City scene from inside the luxurious car. Winona knew that this luxury was only temporary because, after the end of her contract, she would return to normal life, even though it would be much better than before. Winona might have been able to buy a lovely apartment and a new car and even start her own business. However, the luxury she was experiencing was worth enjoying while she still could.

However, Winona suddenly felt the car she was driving leaned slightly to the left. The driver immediately pulled over the car and got down to check.

“What is it?” Winona asked.

“We have flat tires, ma’am,” said one of the bodyguards.

“Oh, my goodness,” Winona commented.

“No problem, ma’am. We’ll replace it in a moment. You can drink coffee or tea first in that small café. We’ll let you know when we’re done,” he replied.

“Oh, that’s a great idea,” Winona said.
