Chapter 37. Carrying out Richard’s Plan

Richard caught Winona’s body quickly before she actually fell to the ground. He shook his head as he held Winona’s body.

“She’s terrified of the sea, sir,” said Martin, who suddenly appeared in front of Richard.

“I know. But there is no other way. She must face this. She can’t possibly run away from her true self forever,” answered Richard.

Martin nodded. He then followed Richard, who was carrying Winona’s body, into a luxury resort that was not open to the public. The island was only for Richard, so no one was allowed to vacation there except Richard. Even so, Richard’s men always came here just to clean up this whole place. Richard’s sudden visit kept everyone busy prepping groceries, cooking, and other things.

Martin watched Richard from behind. He took a deep breath. In fact, Martin was a bit worried seeing Richard’s look at Winona. Winona was definitely a powerful sea creature, and maybe she was unknowingly chipping away at Richard’s strength bit by bit
