Chapter 17
Ivan looked at the lady who stood before him with tears in her eyes. He could tell she was close to the people who died and needed to know what caused their deaths. Even if it would hurt her to hear it. He took a deep breath as he tried to recount the incident without leaving any details out.
“Some wolves came down from one of the cars; they looked like warriors. One of them looked like he was about to check something in the car when they all froze, seeing the rogues running towards them. Before any of them could do anything, the rogues attacked.”
“They were outnumbered. The rogues tore into each of them, tearing off their heads. It was horrible to watch.” Grace’s shaking worsened beside her mate, so he hugged her tightly, rubbing her back in circular motions to calm her down.
