Chapter 15. Just a Phone Call

Lucien took the towel from the man who brought it and started to wipe the wine off of Anna's neck and skin, but she took it from him and started to wipe the dress instead.

"What are you doing, it's ruining the dress," she worried about the wine seeping into the material of the dress and spreading out it's stain.

Before she could say another word, the suited woman hurried over, already apologizing after noticing Anna's panic was making Lucien unhappy.

"It's fine, ma'am. We have another one of this."

Anna blinked. "But it was...I was..."

"We shouldn’t have given you a heel that unstable," the woman replied gently, signaling for a replacement and her people started running around.
