“And then... I found him,” Anna continued, voice breaking. “With someone else. In my bed, Lucien. He was fucking someone else on my favorite sheets. I had to throw them out. I burned them, actually.” She sniffed. “The bastard couldn’t even take her to his place because his place was a shithole.”
