Chapter 24. Kidnapped 2
He walked some distance from his car before he saw her purse on the ground. He stopped in his movement and looked around. He remembered her purse. It was the same one a thief had tried to take from her during their trip to Asia.
His breathing hitched with worry as he crouched beside the purse and picked it up. He swallowed. He could tell what had happened to leave her purse lying on the floor by the road.
He could tell that someone had chased her from the bus stop to that place; that her purse had fallen but there was no time for her to pick it up because she was running for her safety.
His heart ached. Someone had chased his bunny; put her in a state of panic and tremble. He knew they must have knocked her out to silence her before taking her.
He just stayed put, still crouched where her purse had fallen. His blood was boiling, anger surging through his veins. And he had just made peace with the other cartels in the city and around. But now, one of them had
