Chapter 19. An Apology and a Little Romance?
"So this is what a meeting looks like to you, huh?"
I asked as I finally sat across the table from Cadence. I still can't get over the fact that my friend for so many years and her are just the same person.
The way she spoke and the way she messaged me all the time were all different, so I couldn't even pinpoint that they were the same person at all. Except for what happened days ago, it was all just a hunch, and I didn't even mind it at all until now.
She's still looking at me. She was still scanning every inch of the detail she wanted to remember. She's still tilting her head from time to time, wondering if this is true, I guess.
