Chapter 20. Villain
At first, I didn't know why I even ended up calling her name and asking her the most shocking question that came out of my mouth. When I walked back to the office yesterday, I think my face felt so embarrassed and flustered at the same time.
I must admit that I don't really know how to make a first move about something like that. I'm terrible at it. But the courage I built up just to say those words to her was not easy, yet it felt good after hearing that she said yes to my offer.
Now, I'm here waiting in a cafe just about seven blocks away from her office. I took the chance to visit her area, as I'm not really familiar with this side of the city. I went to a three-story coffee shop with an open garden on its rooftop. I sat on the second floor, and from here I could see their building.
Of course, I could see it from here. After all, it's the tallest building in the city!
She texted me while I was on my way here that she'd be fifteen minutes late, and I'm fine
